SYDNEY, August 1 AAP - The NSW Snow Report for Friday August 1, 2003:
THREDBO: A cold day with blue skies and fantastic dry snow cover from top to bottom.
Snowmakers have topped up the Crackenback Supertrail, High Noon, Sundowner and FridayFlat. Central Spur and Karels offer great off piste. Lifts: All expected to operate.
PERISHER: Great snow conditions with a dry cover topped up by snowmakers. Best runsare Burnam Burnam and International on Mt Perisher or Outer Limits at Blue Cow for anadventurous route. Groomers have picked Sun Valley at Perisher, Freelander Wood Run atSmiggins, Cold Shoulder at Blue Cow and Schnaxl at Guthega. Lifts: 50 expected to operate.
SELWYN: A fine day at Selwyn with excellent snow cover across the resort. Every runhas been groomed on a firm packed base. Lifts: Up to eight in operation.
CHARLOTTE PASS VILLAGE: Snow conditions just keep getting better as the base is packeddown. Weather is tipped to be fine until Wednesday with snowmaking topping up the cover.
Groomers recommend Rollercoaster for some big drops or Waterfall. Lifts: All expectedto operate.
