Qld: Man in court over three murders
A man is facing a committal hearing in Brisbane over the murder of two women and agirl near Rockhampton.
LEONARD JOHN FRASER, aged 51, is facing a four-week hearing in Brisbane's MagistratesCourt accused of murdering 14-year-old NATASHA RYAN, BEVERLY LEGGO, 36, and JULIE TURNER,39.
The court has been told that all three disappeared from the central Queensland cityover six months from September, 1998.
Detective Senior Sergeant DAVID HICKEY told the court that FRASER led police to thebodies of Ms TURNER and Ms LEGGO in bushland outside Rockhampton.
NATASHA RYAN's body has not been found.
