PLANO, Texas -- On the fringe of Dallas, colossal corporate headquarters squat on the rolling landscape, each its own community.
``We're virtually in the middle of nowhere,'' said Philippa M. Dworkin, spokeswoman for Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc., the newest company in Legacy business park.
Legacy, about 20 miles north of Dallas, is bucolic and spacious and sits where cattle once were driven along the Shawnee Trail. Today, the area houses some of the world's most modern structures and well-known corporations.
